7/7/2004, commissioned by Istra Etno Jazz Festival
From the evocative exodus song Rondinella (written by Dario Marušić) emerged the tales of love and loss, gently and with constrained nostalgia, triggering memories and offering a glance at the past, the spaces and people we feel or once felt close to. Rondinella is a lyrical and eloquent site-specific work for five dancers, a musician and video projection originally created and performed in the renaissance village square of Svetvinčenat in Istria, Croatia.

(At the) crossroads of Italian troubadour tradition and high-calibre contemporary dance. (P. Jesenko, Delo)
Rondinella is a gentle, well-accomplished performance. Although it is short, it does not appear as a collection of ideas, but turns out to be well-conceived, precise, totally complete: bittersweet flash, as it comes up at small thoughts about almost forgotten things. (G.Butala, Dnevnik)
