31/5/2008, Museum Vojvodina, project commissioned by Flow – Festival of Conversation for Culture and Science – Austria
I Think River is a flow of voices, echos, words, images, symbols, dreams and feelings that continuously overflow the intimacy of the body from within and without. It is about being a bridge between the near bank and the far bank, on familiar side and strange side, at the known front and unknown front, being both the riverbed and the river-flow. And about looking from different places at once. I Think River is a dance of the river’s dangerous playfulness.

Dancers Anna Nowicka and Mala Kline, the letter also signed the choreography, performed a dance, in which impulses of released movements initially pass from one to the other and then develop into solo and duo scores marked by rather regular and broader lines of the body, that eventually turn into an licentious and happy game of bathing and water pleasures. On the associative level they enable a vision of an artist-wonderer who strays magnetically attracted to water until he completely surrenders to it in stillness.
